The Macau Allied Health Association is dedicated to advancing allied health professions in Macau. Our goal is to promote continuing professional development (CPD), foster collaboration among healthcare professionals, and enhance the quality of healthcare services for the community. We aim to unite allied health professionals, advocate for their interests, and contribute to a healthier Macau.

Allied health professionals refer to healthcare workers other than doctors and nurses. They work closely with the medical team to provide rehabilitation and ongoing care for patients through rehabilitation, medical diagnostics, and technology. In Macau, regulated allied health professionals include: physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, psychologists, dietitians, pharmacists, medical laboratory technologists, radiographers, and pharmacy technicians.

Founded in 2025 by a group of passionate allied health professionals, the Macau Allied Health Association was created to unite and empower our professional community. Our mission is to foster a supportive network to promote inter-professional collaboration, professional development, and recognition for allied health roles in Macau.
